It's been 12 hours with midnight exception. If the pick time has been changed again to eliminate the midnight exception as Dan said to me on AIM yesterday then this is news to me.
There was a midnight exception last year, no such thing was proposed or implemented in this draft. We went with a simple 12 hour clock as of the beginning of the 2nd round.
Even if there was a midnight exception, Frankie's turn would've been skipped because the rule was 12 hours or midnight, whichever is longer. The last pick was made at 6:34 PMso 6:34 AM would be longer.
Good point, the rule was basically designed to force people to pick in prime time, but not penalize someone with a 1pm deadline just because the last person picked after midnight. It worked ok but 12 hours isn't a big hardship, We should all be able to glance at the website twice a day.

Ok, I assume Justin's still taking Gonzalez, so... Frankie, I guess.
Felix picks Michael Barrett
Just to make things clear, it's Frankie's pick as of 6:34 PM. Justin's pick should have been posted after Felix's
It'd be hilarious if those two minutes become critical.
It's weird, actually, because I posted AFTER Felix's pick was announced; blogger must have screwed up.
It's now 6:34 A.M. and no pick from Frankie. Justin's 2nd pick of this round is up followed by Dan and Franky.
wait we're doing 12 hours instead of 24 now?
It's been 12 hours since the beginning of the second round.
People should really sign their posts; it's not hard, blogger gives you the option to name yourself if you click on "other" for "choose an identity."

Is the midnight extension still in effect or not?
As I said to Markus yesterday, there has not been a midnight exception at any point this year since the beginning of the second round.

so now Justin has until 6:34 PM Sunday to make his pick? That's in 20 minutes
Yes and he will be skipped twice very quickly if he doesn't pick on time.

Dan takes Brian Fuentes.
Franky takes Jon Lieber.
Just as a note: Frankie can still jump in any time and make his sixth-round pick.
